Virtual Simulation Studios

Recently while looking for a server, Danny252 stumbled across the Virtual Simulation Studios, or VSS, server. There, he met a couple of the members and they displayed a few things they were working on.

Virtual Simulation Studios is a group of OFP mission makers, who are working on everything from single- and multi-player missions to scripts and tutorials. They have little released right now, but their current work seems good and their attitude is friendly.

Hello fellow OFP players!
Today is a great day for all VSS (Virtual Simulation Studio) members as we stand ready to re-release our site. After some downtime our site and forum are now ready to welcome you with open arms.
So what is Virtual Simulation Studio?
Virtual Simulation Studio is an Operation Flashpoint editing team focused in creating realistic and accurate missions, both singleplayer and multiplayer, campaigns, scripts and editing tutorials. We don’t privilege any game mode, being singleplayer or multiplayer, but for the time being we are more focused on multiplayer gaming as we consider it the future of the community.
What is your objective?
We, VSS, wish to honour all the community’s work put on this game and for being constantly evolving this game to a state that no one would imagine back in 2001. To do so we are also recruiting professionally-minded players willing to help us in achieving our goals.
How was VSS created?
VSS was born from the ashes of the defunct European Editing Studios (founded by SerialKiller, NBRVieiraPT and Woodpecker). VSS passed by many name/structure transitions and had another two members (NorwayTiger and Marcus3) that left long ago but only in late June 2006 the final version of the team was firmly established. After the first online release we are here to release it again, with revamped website and forum as with new members.

Their work is good, attitude friendly, and they’re happy to answer questions. We advise you watch their website at for new updates!

A broken download, a missing picture, an article that reads wrong. Also a file the archive does not have and you do, or an idea for what it should hold next.

The site is open source, so a fix can arrive as a pull request as readily as a message.
